On June 4, 2024, Helen Pei, Senior Investment Manager of the Victorian Government, visited and inspected Beijing Jinkai New Energy Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., accompanied by its founder, Chairman, and CEO, Mr. Xukai Fu.
At the beginning of the visit, Mr. Xukai Fu detailed Jinkai's growth journey and its solid foundation in the circular economy sector. He reflected on his childhood experiences and commitment to social justice, which drove him to start the company. Additionally, his extensive professional knowledge and management experience gained over years of frontline work before starting the company have enabled him to achieve numerous outstanding accomplishments in the circular economy field.
Mr. Fu then led Ms. Pei on a tour of the company’s campus, showcasing three globally leading circular economy products: the Jinkai intelligent identification sweeping truck, the Jinkai intelligent identification water truck, and the Jinkai intelligent food waste treatment machine. During the demonstration, Mr. Fu highlighted the unique advantages of Jinkai’s products, including the application of artificial intelligence and digital technology, rich commercialization experience, sustainable practices in street sanitation, innovative solutions for reducing air, land, and ocean pollution, and achieving energy-saving goals and waste management through efficient utilization of water, energy, and materials. These advantages have positioned Jinkai favorably in both domestic and international markets.
Jinkai’s primary target customers are divided into two categories: municipal sanitation departments (city councils) and large automotive companies. For municipal sanitation departments (city councils), Jinkai manufactures patented intelligent cleaning vehicles through its in-house manufacturing facilities. When collaborating with large automotive companies, Jinkai adds intelligent equipment to their existing vehicles. Feedback from both types of customers indicates that Jinkai’s circular economy equipment not only enhances their environmental performance but also significantly reduces cost losses caused by inefficient machinery.
After the product demonstration, Ms. Pei visited Mr. Fu's office, where she highly praised Jinkai’s circular economy products and she expressed optimism about the potential of Jinkai’s products in the Australian market. As a Victorian Government official, Ms. Pei introduced the prospects of Victoria in related circular economy and investment fields. She stated that Victoria’s thriving circular economy industry, abundant natural resources, and firm energy goals present significant opportunities for global investors to initiate innovative projects that are both profitable and contribute to energy saving and emission reduction. Currently, Victoria's circular economy industry is experiencing unprecedented growth, and with robust government support and unparalleled resources, talent, and infrastructure, Victoria is an ideal place for developing and launching innovative solutions.
Mr. Fu was pleased to learn that the strategic goals of Victoria and Australia in the circular economy align perfectly with Jinkai’s corporate goals. He expressed optimism about the potential of Jinkai’s products in the Australian market and looked forward to deeper cooperation with Victoria. Mr. Fu also discussed Jinkai’s current collaboration with experts and professors from the University of Technology Sydney in Australia and shared his vision for future cooperation in technology development and market expansion. Following the meeting, Ms. Pei expressed her desire to promote Jinkai’s exemplary circular economy model to more countries, particularly introducing it to overseas investment officers in the UK and Belgium. She hoped that Jinkai would not only achieve profitability but also contribute to global environmental protection and lead the development of the global circular economy.
After obtaining the relevant contact information, Mr. Fu contacted the investment managers in the UK and Belgium. These managers highly praised Jinkai’s outstanding performance in professional technology, corporate social responsibility, and domestic and international commercialization. They acknowledged the strong demand for Jinkai’s circular economy products in the UK and Belgian markets.
Next, the investment managers in the UK and Belgium introduced Jinkai to local officials and arranged for Mr. Fu’s visit later this year. They will help Jinkai customize business case proposals and provide information on local market access, commercial potential and competition, R&D capabilities, labor market skills and talent, and potential business costs.
